Teej Function 2022

TWCO makes sure that every year Teej is being celebrated by its members as it marks festival by married women.
Teej is an auspicious festival which is celebrated by all members of TWCO in the month of Sravan throughout India to mark their husband’s longevity by worshipping Goddess and keeping fast.
In the year 2022, TWCO celebrated Teej festival, with ‘Village Theme’ where Village environment was recreated at MTNL Auditorium. All the members performed a Play representing various villages belonging to various cultures of India along with songs of Saavan and folk songs which was organized at the MTNL auditorium. This year also, Teej Quuen was selected based on “Sola Sringar”, women wearing all the sixteen varieties of Sringar attire.
We all thank all the officers of MTNL for their help and support in organizing the huge event successfully.
 

Sundarkand Path followed by Bhandara - 2022

Sunderkand is one of the chapter of sacred Ramayana that depicts the adventures of Lord Hanuman. The original SundarKand was composed by Valmiki in Sanskrit in the Ramayana and highlights Lord Hanuman instead of Lord Rama.
On a regular basis, Sunderkand Path is considered as auspicious recitation written by SRI TULASI DAS in Avadhi language.
TWCO organized Sundarkand Path followed by Bhandara on 18th October 2022, for the welfare of all its members as well as for the entire community.
 

WORLD HERITAGE DAY

On this ocassion TWCO GB Members visited a heritage site UGRASEN KI BAOLI. A Beautiful step well which was built by Raja Ugrasen the forefathers of Agrawal community. It is one of the finest baoli of Delhi. The main feature is the long flight of steps which lead to the water well. On the west side a small mosque. This baoli features in few hindi films like PK etc.
 

Bhajan Sandhya by TWCO

On the auspicious occasion of Navratra, the beautiful bhajan sung by SAI DIWANE group and wonderful gathering made the evening really special.
 

TWCO PICNIC WITH A PURPOSE

HEART CARE FOUNDATION OF INDIA conducted a brief session on CPR (CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION). TWCO members had lots of fun in the picnic and at the same time learnt about this Life Saving Technique.
 

TWCO PICNIC & SPORTS DAY

TWCO organised Picnic & Sports day for its members at Talkatora garden during beautiful weather of February. Members had great fun, prizes were also given to winners by TWCO President Mrs Tripti Shrivastava.

Children Development
 

Visit to Bal Sahyog Orphanage

 
As part of charity, TWCO visited Bal Sahyog, an orphanage founded by late Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi in 1954, for the care and protection of orphans, helpless, abandoned and neglected children.
As part of providing assistance, TWCO, visited Bal Sahayog in the year 2021, where it is serving thousands of homeless children, children from slums of Delhi, which is providing nutrition, health care, education and protection.
As part of TWCO charity and for the good cause, to help the children, TWCO donated food and ration for a day and distributed some snacks and fruit juices to the children at Bal Sahyog.

Summer Camp at Kalibari and Chummery Centres 2022

 
Every year, TWCO organizes summer camp at its dedicated centers for the children of servants and labor during May.
In the year 2022 too, TWCO has organized summer camp at Kalibari center from 1st to 10th June 2022 and at Chummery Center from 16th to 28th May 2022 respectively. Various activities for children were conducted at these centers for recreation of children during this period.
The age group of children was from 5 years to 15 years, with activities like teaching-math for fun, painting, dance, yoga, sloka recitation. The fun filled activities were enjoyed thoroughly by all the children.

INDEPENDENCE DAY & REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

 
TWCO celebrated Independece day and republic day and distributed school bags, activity books and Sweets to children taking tution classes at TWCO centre. The extra classes help them to do better in their schools.

TWCO distributed sweets,stationary boxes, pencil boxes, shar[ener and erasers on the eve of Independence day at chammery tuition centre New Delhi.
